About Me I am a mother of one and a lover of history. I am an actor, jouster and instructor in the Seattle Knights being the first to achieve the highest level in the group, Iron Lord. I love working with kids, horses and animals. I enjoy sewing and working outdoors.

Music I have an eclectic insterest in music. I enjoy almost everything except Rap and most Goth. I mostly listen to Country but I like rock, classic, pop and showtunes as well.

Movies A Knight's Tale, Ladyhawke, are my favorites. I also like the Firefly series and Serenity plus Stardust. Anything Fantasy!

TV My son and I enjoy watching Animal Planet a lot since we have a love of animals. I am also into the Moonlight series.

Books I enjoy reading historical information books on knights, armor, weapons and pirates. I also like reading fantasy or romance novels (I know but I am a woman who can dream).

Likes Down to earth, creative and honest people! I love the outdoors - going camping or going on day rides.

Dislikes Fake and/or controlling people. People who lie and betray you. If you have no honor, keep on walking.

Hobbies In no particular order: Sewing, cooking, reading, working with horses, playing pirate, jousting, cuddling, spending time with my son, shooting blackpowder flintlock weapons and cannons.

Vices I am a collector of Robin Hood movies, shows, books and items as well. I just cannot resist! I have a weakness for Windstones sculptures and have over 20 in my collection including Cats, Dragons & Unicorns.

Avery Renaissance Festival Oct 4-5th, 2008

There is a new festival/faire in Washington (YEAH! Another place to play, spend time with friends and perform!) this year! This will mark the first year for Avery and moving forward it will be held in July (so as to not be in competition with any other faires in Washington).

Come out and see us! This one proves to be wonderful and wil be expanding with permanent buildings and all!

Heading to Sun Valley ID next week1

Hey all! I am heading to joust in Sun Valley ID! Come on out if you can! Faire is in downtown Sun Valley Aug 23-24th! You can get details at www.seattleknights.com !

I am so looking forward to this performance. The show marks my third anniversary with my horse, Skitahr and this is his first show this season. He fractured a spinous process on his back in Feb and was on medical leave till July! He is doing great and I am in new (to me) armor! For the first time in 6 years, I am riding as the blue rider!

Next month, I will be in Portland OR for the Portland Pirate Festival! This is Sept 20-21st (my birthday weekend). If you are able to come out, just look for One Eye Jack with the Jack Pack (running kid games such as roll the barrel, walk the plank, sink the ships etc).
